SMC Services

SMC purchasing offers a comprehensive program for purchasing food, paper supplies, smallwares, kitchen equipment, repairs, maintenance, catering, and take out food. All orders are placed through the SMC office saving the members time and money while providing the chapters with a central location for all purchase orders and service records. Members may also consult with the SMC staff on such matters as kitchen budgeting , menu planning cook referrals, orderings, product knowledge, and price comparisons.

Grocery Business Bidding
SMC accepts bids for our grocery business every three years. The main grocery vendor is chosen based on three factors: Price, Service, and Quality

Financial Services
SMC Financial Services provide members and small living units with a variety of specialized accounting services. By operating on a not-for-profit basis, we are able to offer our members a full range of services while keeping our price affordable.

SMC Charge Card
SMC creates charge cards for its members which are accepted by SMC vendors. Using the SMC Charge Card is much more convenient than trying to find the treasurer to write a check or to try and get reimbursed.
